Job Description
Kim Pet Hospital is looking for an Administrative Assistant (permanent / full time position).
–     Job title: Administrative Assistant (NOC 13110)
–     Terms of employment: Permanent & Full time Position
–     Location: 8362 Woodbine Avenue, Markham, Ontario, L3R 2N8
–     Start date: As soon as possible
–     Position available: 1
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
–     Greeting and assisting pet owners, answering calls, and scheduling appointments.
–     Opening and distributing regular and electronic incoming mail and other material.
–     Managing patient records and ensuring accuracy.
–     Coordinating appointments and communicating with pet owners.
–     Assisting with billing, payments, and insurance verification.
–     Monitoring and ordering supplies for the hospital.
–     Providing administrative support to veterinarians and staff.
–     Organizing and maintaining files and documentation.
–     Assisting with facility maintenance and repairs.
–     Ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
–     Collaborating with the veterinary team for a smooth operation.
–     Arranging and preparing meetings.
Academic, Training and Experience Qualifications
–     Secondary school graduation certificate required
–     Experience is an asset
Computer and Technology Knowledge
–     MS word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, Electronic Scheduler
Work conditions and physical capabilities
–     Fast paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to details
Wage
–     Salary: $24.50 per hour for 30 hours a week at 52 weeks a year

–     Vacation pay: 4% remuneration of total gross salary
